| O&A Board Veteran Registered: May. 00  | on the heels of my last 2 ideas ive come up with another one. i was thinking about bandwidth today and saving it. now i know we delete stupid posts to save bandwidth among other things correct? this got me thinking about what else we could do and i came up with this. what is the practicality of a weekly or bi-weekly maintenance of our own forums. basically what i mean is a deleting of threads with either a few or no responses to them. ive seen a couple of posts on this board and numerous on the last board which had 2-3 responses and even none and were still sitting there taking up space. another thing to look for would be timed threads, an example would be, so and so is apprearing here in 2 weeks. when the 2 weeks are over the thread is still there but totally irrelevant now. this would clear up bandwidth and space on the board and maybe help it run faster, i dont know. anyway i put it out here to see what the mods and froy thought about it. is it something we can implement, is it a stupid idea, or is it a good idea but unpractical? thanks for letting me get my idea out there and your thoughts on it. :) see ya around :)  i'm the one with this big fucking hole no new tale to tell twenty-six years on my way to hell gotta listen to your big time hard line bad luck fist fuck don't think you're having all the fun you know me i hate everyone-NIN | ||||

| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01 | It's an issue that has been brought up many times. Now that we're off infopop and do not pay (at least for now) bandwidth charges as we have no limit or ceiling, I am not worried. Old posts don't account for much transfer, but if the server becomes an issue and we do start to have an unsustainable amount of traffic we will revert to some sort of a clean-up system. Sean and i have also perfected selling free stuff like water and dirt. cups of water and dirt we can make mud and slide it down the hill make mudslides. Or just run around highways during rush hour. Sean throws dirt on everyone's windshield and i come around and sell them water to clean it off. On the side as well for myself i have been selling memberships to oa.com hope froy doesnt mind.
