| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I need input on this guy folks. He started in when Drudge Jr was bitching about board policy, so I gave him a strike (as many of you know) of course, he got pissed at me for giving him a strike, so he then decided to start attacking me. I don't particularly care about that, but a few days ago I saw a post of his with "proud owner of a strike from the infinitely poweful magus" so I threw another one at him.. mainly because I feel it's important for the legitimate board members to feel a certain amount of respect for the people who moderate the board. Now he went and started a post directed at me in Fight Club, which Froy locked (thankfully). My main problem is I get the distinct impression this guy's a troublemaker.. but I could be wrong. Now I don't want to ban him just because he has a beef with me, I don't think personal reasons are good enough to ban somebody (with the possible exception of KFC) but this guy just REALLY annoys me for some reason, so I wanted to know if you folks thought I was being a little too trigger happy with him to begin with. | O&A Board Veteran Registered: Oct. 00 | Lord M, this guy has a tendency to be troublesome. I've never had direct problems with him as a Moderator, but do find that he has a tendency to be a contrarian and I find that he lacks certain social graces. While, I'm laughing at myself as I type this, because tact is not necessarily what I'm known for, I feel that this guy could become a bad influence on others. If you feel that he is undermining the Board and you in particular as a Moderator, try taking him to the ATM...LOL...no, do as Froy says, let him be gone. (BTW, that thread wasn't originally in FC. I first saw it in OT, after Froy locked it. So that could indicate that he's coming at you agressively. Just something else to look out for.) I was pretty much baiting him with that status I gave him, but I was disappointed in the reaction. Oh well, from what I'm hearing, I'm not overreacting, he just tends to stay under the radar? I do appreciate the input, and by all means, if he does something worthy of a banning, don't wait for me, go ahead. I will be watching him though, and I appreciate the input. He posts very sporadically, i remember the whole drudge jr. thing with him and that other prick I GROOMS MYSELF, if you wanna waste your time posting back and forth with him like i did it's up to you, i only did it as to not give him the luxury of then saying "ooh the mods have nothing to say they just ban people." But he has been acting like an extrememe jackass and with him it might be pointless. But just wait for him to do something dumb like that again and loop him in the ass with your shoe.
