| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | I know Kid has gotten on some folks nerves the last day or two. He seems to have gotten a bug up his ass about being able to state his opinion wherever and whenever he chooses, meaning he can defile any thread he wants, and yet no one else can do the same to him. I've been biting my tongue for a while now, but I saw he finally pushed everyone else's buttons, but he seems to really like to guilt trip people into not banning him.. so I just did, just for a week, but I wanted to let everyone know that I am banning him NOT because he pissed me off.. but because he seems to feel he can openly criticise board policy and taunt the moderators without sufferring any backlash, and this attitude should NOT be allowed in my honesdt opinion. I'm only giving him a week this time because he IS a good poster when he's calm, and I want to give him time to calm down and see if he learns.  No! I am NOT a Goth Dude!! "Good? Bad? But, this shit got way out of hand. I toyed with the idea of banning him "not because I wanted to, but because I felt I owed it to him" all day long. Buttmunch1225: I would only do it to make you stop this self-destructive behavior. But, somehow, I think you would take it as a badge of courage. Goddamnit, I'm your friend. Stop this shit. I'm between a rock and a hard place. Maybe I shouldn't have revealed that because it shows that I failed in my duties. But, I continued to hold out hope that he would just stop. Apparently, my friendship was stronger than his. So, a one week banning is just fine with me. It is the least we can do for him. If he needs more time being banned, I endorse that too. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I honestly wish I could explain this guy, but, alas, I can't. (all you fuckers wish you could use "alas" in a sentence, admit it!) Anyway, the banning was righteous and totally called for. Good job Magus. (note to Magus: I still haven't called you a bone-smuggler in this post)  | ||||
