It is Howard's hand me downs. These 'non Hollywood' guys would cream their pants to be hanging with celebrities. If you think differently, get a grip. Bottom line. if it was for Howard Stern, O & A would be doing that same old tired Morning Zoo, shtick. It is cute that they have some loyal fans but they peaked and noby knows who they are. They better hope Stern retires soon. | ||||

And though I've said it a million times, I'll say it again... your stupid pussy hero Howard is actually quite afraid of Opie and Anthony. The proof? He cries to the big bosses of Infinity, and has them issue a mandate that O&A are not allowed to talk about him. Why? Cause they bash him. When they bash him, he retaliates. When he retaliates, Stern fans who have never heard of O&A flip the dial to see how THEY will react to what HE said. While they're doing so, they end up sticking around, liking the show, finding that it's actually better than Howard's, and then O&A have a new devoted fan. Think it wouldn't work that way? Why not? Stern knows that it DOES work that way, because it's how he overtook Imus. Your debate is as old and tired as your hero. Go bug people here instead. Your inane bullshit is not welcome here. As if naming bits after days of the week is original or worth taking credit for. And you're right- these guys are nobody. Just some immitators without a thought in their head. They'll never transcend radio, and they could never compete with Howard in the morning. | ||||

The Backstreet Boys are more popular than Slayer, just like Howard is more popular than Opie and Anthony, but that's where the analogy ends. Opie and Anthony started doing radio after years of listening to Howard Stern, and they're trying to get the same audience by doing the same kind of show. There's nothing wrong with that if they could be themselves on the air and say something original. However, I think that if it wasn't for Howard they wouldn't know what to say or what kind of show to do. And I think they cheapen the material that Howard made successful. Most people can pick that up, and that's why they'll never be as big as Howard and if they ever went head-to-head, there's not a market they'd beat him in. | ||||
