WRONG. You have the order backwards. I responded to Spit saying she couldn't be friends with other women. I questioned why not, and I also said that I found it prejudicial that she didn't like almost half the population, blah, blah, blah - I then sent her an e-mail telling her why cared that she didn't like other women. If she wants to share that with you, that's fine, but I won't explain myself here. As far as learning to read goes, you should try it yourself. I edited my post, and in it I stated that I hadn't noticed what Seph wrote when I originally replied quote:. What twisted logic would lead you to come up with the fact that I have a problem making friends with women? As far as alienating people goes, yes, I've alienated you, VG, Spit and CRX. There may be others, but nobody else that has let me know they don't like me. Quite frankly Slash, I haven't seen a post by you in days, and I haven't had any problems. Even today, I think I could have resolved things w/Spit and CRX just fine. The bottom line is that we've all said our peace. I also said I wouldn't post in that thread anymore, but you on the other hand, being totally uninvolved, had to get involved and had to instigate a further argument. Yes, you're the reason for this post, not spit, and not CRX. Now for the editorial section of my post: I couldn't care less if people here don't like me. The only way I would care if people didn't like me is if I had met everyone here in person and actually had a conversation with them, and then they didn't like me. Do you think you know me based on my posts? If you do, I think you're probably mistaken. Actually, I know you're definitely mistaken. I know that a few times I have posted something, and the way I meant it was not the way it was received. My x-mas gift to VG is a perfect example. Another example was when Faceman said something like you are no VG, and I thanked him for the compliment. That too was a joke, and was not intended to offend anyone or stir things up. If you did actually know me, you would understand the spirit of my posts. And an observation, which I'm sure you'll disagree with - along the lines of what I said to CRX about how come it was ok for other people to argue with somebody else's post - other people did in fact argue/disagree with what other members had posted, but that didn't bother anyone. The fact that I did it, did bother some. I think it's mainly because I'm relatively new here, and because I was disagreeing with someone who has been here a long time. Out of curiosity, if someone had said, I think most blacks are stupid, lazy (something along those lines) and I will never be friends with a black person, and I had responded to that in the same way I responded to Spit, would that have been ok? They're both prejudiced statements (and Spit, if you're reading this, please don't respond to it again, I'm just trying to make a point here not drag up the same disagreement). I think you're just sticking up for someone who's been here a lot longer. Personally, I think it's impossible to resolve shit like this on a message board, posting back and forth. I think you need to have a conversation to actually resolve things, but since it is a message board, this is the best I can do. So Slash, it's nice that you stick up for your friends, but as a mod, try being objective and looking at what was said, not just who said it. | ||||

And actually, I agree that many women CAN'T be friends... women are evil and don't trust each other.
