Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | Jim Fassell has asked his fellow coaches about what they think about starting at Denver in a new stadium with hopes as high as the ones Broncos fans have and they all agree on one thing; better move on to the next game because it'll be tough. Not only that but some are picking the Broncos be AFC Champs. Some Giants detractors make the point that Giants didn't really beat a single good team last year and how they laid down in the Super Bowl, which is really sad because they did win like 10 in a row to get there. I see the Jets are a pick-'em with the Colts. It will be interesting to see how VinnyT plays early on. Jets could suck champagne in January or suck ass en route to another 1-15 season.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Mar. 01 | The Broncos are not as good as everyone thinks they are. the offense is still young, and shaky, and it relies on Brian Greise, who, although talented, is injury prone and still untested in my opinion. The Broncos clearly have the emotional advantage, with the opening of the new stadium on Monday Night, and the only thing that can be assured is that it will be a good game. 7 point underdogs is ridiculous. Griese was only injured last year, so saying that he is injury prone is jumping the gun a bit. Besides, I know what Austins status will look like come next Tuesday. Denver will cover the 7 point spread easy. And you can take that to the bank... Why fucking bother "Think before you write" - Froy E-Mail Me

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | i'm a huge giants fan, but i think you have to be realistic. denver is an amazing team, so amazing that i think they'll make the super bowl this year. its always tough to play in denver, and it should be extra tough being that its the first game of a new stadium. i just hope the giants don't get blown out. and as for brian greise. with the supporting cast he has around him, i think he'll be a top 5 quarterback by season's end. he'll throw for close to 3500 yards and 30 td's.

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | sorry corpse but no way can i see denver by 14. only way that happens is if the giants pull their usual monday night magic and dont show up to the game and get blown out right off the bat. if this game was a normal sunday afternoon game and not a monday nighter opening up the stadium i'd pick the giants to win and not just cover. giants really get some bad luck though with the schedule this year for monday nights. next week is the season opener/stadium opener in denver and then later in the year they're in minnesota on a monday night for what i think is korey stringer night. anyone else see moss catching 15 balls for 350 yards that night?

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Okay, here's my picks: Colts Raiders Vikings Packers Patriots Saints Seahawks Bucs Steelers (with fingers crossed) Baltimore (but Tequila has a point, 10 1/2 is a lot of points to give, especially this early) Eagles (if Mc Nabb plays the way he should) Falcons Redskins Titans Broncos...no, Giants...no. It's hard because I think last year was a fluke for Big Blue (but what if it wasn't), and this Broncos team has tremendous potential (but what are they going to do with it?), so... I'll go with the Giants. (when in doubt, go with your husband's favorite) ;)
