| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | First off I went to a red sox message board on yahoo just for kicks just to hear what these stupid idiots are saying about this weekend's series. This one really stood out as some of the funniest reading material I have ever seen. This is the type of stupid mentality that is up in Boston. This was a reply to a Yankee fan talking trash and how Yankees have 26 World titles and the Red Sox have not won since the birth of Christ. I shouldn't even waste my breath responding to you, but here goes....(Did you know the Red Sox are the only team to have an MVP in every decade?).... In your (already too long) lifetime, lets say the past 35 years, the Red Sox have: 5 MVPs to the Yankees 2 6 Cy Young winners to the Yankees 2 11 Batting champions to the Yankees 2 The Red Sox started out the last century strong, (winning the first World Series), and I see them winning it all this year....The Yanks had a nice run the past few years, but its all over pal...The Sox will win a couple of World Series over the next few years, and no one deserves it more than the team and their, (classy, intelligent) fans...The list of Yankee fans worth knowing is extremely short, and, not surprisingly, your name ain't on it.... Red Sox became the first team to get swept in a series after leading after seven innings in three games, how pathetic is that, about as pathetic as you, you no good fans. If the roles were reversed, Sox fans would say the same damn thing, so don't fucking try to troll through record and history books when you need to somehow find a way to say why the Sox are up to par with the Bronx Bombers because they're not. I didn't even know any of that were true, in fact, props to you because I am sure you taught some of us something we didn't know. But there's one thing all baseball fans know, and that's the Yankees and their 26 world titles, you don't even need to look far to know that. 1918. But what can you expect from Sox fans? As much as it can be hard to be a Mets fan at times, I always think: It could be worse, I could be a Bosox fan.
