| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00  | I read an article in the Post about the Isles no longer being carried by AM 620 Sporting News Radio. Does anybody know who will be carrying games this season? I have a gut feeling the new ESPN station 1050 will end up broadcasting the games since they will have the Yashin press conference live tomorrow. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Ziggy, they aren't the highest powered station, but I gotta admit I like it better than the fan. I can't say the same for ESPN Radio. Aside from Dick Schapp and Mike & Mike, it's garbage. And is 1050 that much better of a signal? NASA, who else did they get the rights to in NY sports? | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 01 | I think the weekly Sterling and Kay 'Yankee Talk,' among other things that they played on a continuous look all weekend. I forgot the rest, it wasn't the rights to any other teams I don't believe but it's amazing the task they're undertaking. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Tequila, this station carried the Dan Patrick Show before it was a full-time affiliate. I can comfortably say it sucks. They just run around giving radio jobs to guys who are already on TV. If you're gonna do a sports radio network, give jobs to people who really are trying to get into the business and need it. Tequila, as an Isles fan, I will listen to games on this station. But everything else is trash IMHO. Yes Tequila, I really feel the Isles coming together. Playoffs??? A little early to tell, but I guarantee they will be competing for a spot in April. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I can't remember Isles ever having a good radio signal. 1050 MUCH more gooder than 620. ESPN trying hard to be NY friendly, but It's still hard when they have to do NASCAR updates and college football hours. In addition to Isles, they'll broadcast at least 3 NY Jets games (more depending on Yanks), and Army football (what a ratings grabber!). Still, morning drive is up for grabs if you want to avoid stern.  | ||||
