| Trinidad-Hopkins fight postponed

NEW YORK -- The undisputed middleweight championship fight between Felix Trinidad and Bernard Hopkins set for Saturday at Madison Square Garden was postponed in the wake of terrorist attacks.
No new date was set.
"It's been postponed," promoter Don King said Wednesday by phone from his home at Windsor, Ohio. "I was really devastated by the sneak attack."
"We are working on a new date, and hope to reschedule it soon," the promoter said. "This is a sold-out fight, the best fight in boxing. I want to keep the fighters in training. Sept. 29 is the date we are zeroing in on."
The unbeaten Trinidad, of Puerto Rico, a former welterweight and super welterweight champion, is the WBA middleweight champion. Hopkins, of Philadelphia, is the IBF-WBC champion.
