| For school, I got a press pass to tonight's Devils-Rangers game and interviewed coaches and players afterward.
Most notably, I had a good chat with Scott Clemmensen, who is vying for the job to back up Brodeur. During the game, he stoned Petr Nedved on a penalty shot.
BTW: really nice kid. In four years @ Boston College, he never faced a penalty shot and seemed to have Nedved's number before he even crossed the blue line. Of Nedved, Brodeur said "he scores on me all the time."
So, does this kid have a shot?

| Great game last nite. I showed up late, and missed the first two goals though. WE had great seats, blue line, row 11 from the glass.
I thought Clemmensen made alot of stupid mistakes, but luckily none that cost a goal. He was caught behind the goal alot. He did make some nice saves though.
Did you notice how much Lindros didn't do anything in the third period? He just seemed to sort of skate around and not do to much.

| with time up in the big club...i think he'll work out the kinks and be a viable backup for Marty, so he dosn't have to play 79 games of the season. J.D. Damphouse (sp?) has had a few years down with Albany, so he is the only other backup contender i can think of.
