O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01	With the departure of future HOF'er Troy Aikman, who do you think the Cowboys should try to sign to play QB next year, they still have Anthony Wright, but he needs some time to develop. O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00	Flutie seems like the right choice to me. There is still time for Dallas to explore the market, and possibly draft a QB with their #1 Draft Pick which must be high. I dont know how many picks Dallas has but maybe they can try and make a move with San Diego to get the #1 and draft Vick.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	I think they have to build up a new quarterback but at the same time sign Flutie. Flutie isn't exactly a youngster and would be able to really help out a good young QB.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	Don't be surprised if they don't sign a bonafide starter as Aikman is going to cost them 10 million towards the cap. As for drafting a QB #1, they currently don't have a first round pick. Jerry may chalk this one up as a rebuilding year. In fact, because they waived Aikman, they actually had to dump Erik Williams and Chad Hennings to get back under the cap. Has something to do with the prorated bonus that Aikman had, by dropping him, they had to pay the rest up front or something like that, you know how confusing the NFL cap is.
