| NFL BREAKDOWN- WEEK 12- NOVEMBER 29, DECEMBER 2,3, 2001
Philadelphia Eagles (6-4) at Kansas City Chiefs (3-7)
The Eagles head to Arrowhead for a Thursday Night game that they need to have to keep their hold on First Place in the NFC East. This will not be an easy game for the Eagles as the Chiefs got back on track at home last week and are always dangerous at home. But the fact of the matter is that the Eagles are the better team and need this game more than the Chiefs do and should pull out a win in a hard fought contest.
SCORE: Eagles 21 Chiefs 17
New England Patriots (6-5) at New York Jets (7-3)
Who would have thought after the Jets uninspiring 10-3 win over the Patriots in Week 2, that the rematch of this game would be one of the biggest games these two teams have played in quite some time. The Jets are fresh off their bye and in the weeks heading into their bye, they looked as good as any team in the league. The Patriots rebounded from a tough loss to the Rams with a pounding of the Saints. This game has alot of juice to it and it should be fun, and the Jets should outplay the Pats in this one and get the win.
SCORE: Jets 23 Patriots 17
Denver Broncos (6-5) at Miami Dolphins (7-3)
This should be another excellent football game that is very critical for both teams. The Broncos need this game to solidify their playoff hopes, while the Dolphins are looking to keep pace with the Jets for the Division Lead. I dont believe much in the Dolphins and they are due for their usual late season collapse. It took a load of Buffalo mistakes late last week, for the Dolphins to overcome what could have been a detrimental loss. This should be a game that goes down the wire, but Im going with the Broncos to steal one in Miami and get right back into the thick of things in the AFC.
SCORE: Broncos 24 Dolphins 20
Indianapolis Colts (4-6) at Baltimore Ravens (7-4)
How Jim Mora still has his job is beyond me. Not only has he done a terrible job with an underachieving Colts team for 2 years, but then he goes out and publicly criticizes Peyton Manning. Well the Colts season is just about done and on Sunday, it will be done. Now I do expect the Colts to go down with a fight and keep this close, and lets remember, the Ravens havent exactly been impressing anybody either. They almost blew a 17 point lead last week in Jacksonville and have been getting by, by the nick of their teeth. They will do it again this week to get to 8-4.
SCORE: Ravens 23 Colts 14
Carolina Panthers (1-10) at New Orleans Saints (5-5)
Yes the Saints have been very dissapointing with their 5-5 record. A team that had Super Bowl hopes earlier in the season, is now going to have to itch and claw just to make the playoffs. The Saints though are due to breakout for a monster game, and what better way to do it, than with the worst team in Football coming to town. The Panthers have lost 10 straight and you can make it 11 this week.
SCORE: Saints 34 Panthers 14
Minnesota Vikings (4-6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2)
The Vikings looked to be making a move in the NFC after their Monday Night win over The Giants, but then they give it right back by losing at home to Chicago. Minnesota can just about kiss their season goodbye and have a rare season on the outside of the playoffs, with a loss to Pittsburgh. They are going to get that loss, but they can keep this one close. The Steelers are 8-2 and a very good football team, but I dont know if they are as good as the record states. I cant see the Steelers dominating here, but I do see them winning.
SCORE: Steelers 20 Vikings 17
St. Louis Rams (8-2) at Atlanta Falcons (6-4)
Sometimes it seems like the Rams know that they are far and away the best team in the league that they think they can just show up and teams will lie down for them. Thats the way it seemed like in the 2nd Half of the Rams loss to the Saints, and thats the way it was last week when they were outplayed by Tampa Bay on Monday Night. The Falcons are somehow 6-4 and you have to give credit to Dan Reeves and his staff to have a team like the Falcons with a record like that and without Jamal Anderson. The Rams are undefeated on the road, and are coming off that loss on Monday, I cant see the Falcons winning this game. You can take 2 things to the bank, There will be alot of points scored in this game, and if the Falcons do win it, then they certainly are for real.
SCORE: Rams 41 Falcons 31
Tampa Bay Bucs (5-5) at Cincinnati Bengals (4-6)
The Bucs really turned around their season last week with a win in St. Louis. And you would figure that if the Bucs can win in St. Louis, then they surely can go in to Cincinnati and win. Well that may not be the case. Its December and it should be cold in Cincinnati, the Bucs never play good in cold weather. The Bucs are one of the most inconsistent teams in the league, and they are going to be on an emotional let down being in Cincinnati after their huge win in St. Louis. Throw in a short work week and the Bengals being a good team at home is more than enough reasons why the Bengals can pull off this upset.
SCORE: Bengals 13 Bucs 9
Tennessee Titans (4-6) at Cleveland Browns (6-4)
Who would have thought before the season that people would be thinking, Can the Titans upset the Browns? Well thats the question being answered, and dont sell the Browns short, they are a solid football team, well coached, and can easily be even better than their 6-4 record indicates. The Titans have fought back from a very difficult start, but losses at home first to Baltimore on Monday Night, and then last week to Pittsburgh, are just about the nail in the coffin on the Titans season. Well the final nail should be put in this Sunday as the Browns knocks off the Titans.
SCORE: Browns 17 Titans 7
Detroit Lions (0-10) at Chicago Bears (8-2)
Amazingly enough the Lions come into this game still winless. They have had their oppurtunities but never seem to do what it takes to get a victory. Even more surprising than the Lions being 0-10, is that the Bears are 8-2. The Bears proved that they are for real as they went to Tampa and Minnesota in consecutive weeks and got huge divisional victories on the road. Thats the mark of a winner and a champion. But the Lions are hungry for a win, and the Bears may have their eyes set on next week's showdown in Lambeau Field with the Packers. The Bears win this game, but its going to be very close, and dont be surprised if the Lions shock the Bears the way the Bears did to them the last week of the season last year and prevented the Lions from going to the playoffs.
SCORE: Bears 20 Lions 17 (OT)
San Diego Chargers (5-6) at Seattle Seahawks (5-5)
Reality has kicked in for the Chargers after a super fast start. The Chargers once seemed to be competing for a Division Title this year, now a loss this week and they could just about kiss their playoff hopes goodbye. That should happen because lately the Seahawks have been good at home and coming off their loss in Kansas City last week, the Seahawks will be prime to go and to keep their playoff hopes alive.
SCORE: Seahawks 29 Chargers 22
Arizona Cardinals (4-6) at Oakland Raiders (8-2)
The Cardinals went to California last week and got a very good road win in San Diego. But unfortunately for the Cardinals to complete that task again, they will have to beat the Raiders. Thats not happening. The Raiders have the potential to beat the Cardinals by about 30 points, it probably wont go that far as the Raiders wont be pumped for this game against such an inferior opponent, but it still will be a breeze to send Oakland to 9-2.
SCORE: Raiders 30 Cardinals 13
Dallas Cowboys (2-8) at Washington Redskins (5-5)
These two teams met on Monday Night Football a few weeks back and both teams were 0-4. The Cowboys won a very lackluster 9-7 game. Since then the Cowboys 1-4, while the Redskins are 5-0. Who would have thought this turn around would be possible after the Redskins start. Remember they didnt just get beat in their first 5 games, they got absolutely slaughtered. Now the Skins not only have playoff aspirations, they have Division Title aspirations as a win will keep the Skins only 1 game behind Philadelphia. The Skins will get their win here and snap the Cowboys 8 game win streak against the Skins, but this should be a tight football game.
SCORE: Redskins 23 Cowboys 19
Buffalo Bills (1-9) at San Francisco 49ers (8-2)
A Good way to reward an 8-2 Football team is to put them at Home on National TV against a lousy 1-9 team. Thats what the 49ers get when they face the Bills on Sunday Night. The Bills have played teams tough, but totally choked away their game last week against the Dolphins. The 49ers just have too much offensive fire power for the Bills to compete with. The fact that the Niners are playing on Sunday Night and still have something to prove to people who may not believe in them, is not a good sign for Buffalo. The 49ers will show up to play and get another win.
SCORE: 49ers 27 Bills 9
Green Bay Packers (7-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars (3-7)
Not the greatest of Monday Night matchups here as the Packers head to Jacksonville. The Jaguars will be in the role of spoilers as they were officialy done last week when the Ravens broke their hearts in the final seconds. Its going to be tough for the Jags to rebound and I dont see them doing that this week against a Packers team that needs it badly. The Packers need this game to stay at least within 1 game of the Bears and their showdown next week in Lambeau Field. The Jags may keep this close, but the Packers win.
SCORE: Packers 26 Jaguars 21

| Do we really need this in depth analysis? Did you acually write this yourself? You must have, since you give no reference for it. In that case, since I know you didn't plagarize, couldn't you have summed up this week's games in five words? THIS WEEKS GAMES REALLY SUCK?
