This guy thinks that it is a law that every good player should play for the Yanks instead of anyone else. He should just shut his fatass up and be glad that he bought Giambi from the A's. And im sure there will be some Yankee fans who will respond and try to defend their boy George, but any logical person can see that George is a greedy asshole who is ruining the game. Its not the yankees fault that your retarded owners signed a 30 year cable deal, pissing away any of the gains made by having a good team. Unlimited payroll? where do you get that? the yankees have been very wise with their money over this current run, and thats why they make money. They lost 30 million in salary with their Free Agents leaving, and replaced it with 30 million in other FAs. Where is the crying about the red sox? they signed manny for 20 MILLION a YEAR last year. where was the complaining then? And this 'buying championships" is horseshit. The yankees have signed five free agents over this run (and that includes gimabi, karsay, and white). the other two are stanton and mussina. mussina and white both took less money to play for the yankees. Did they buy jeter, bernie, soriano, posada, rivera, pettite, hitchcock? no. they all came up through the minors with the yanks. (true hitchcock left in the tino trade, and came back, but he is a yankee farmhand) What about the mets? Jay Payton and Alfonzo and O-for-donez? WOW. Piazza, what about him? or leiter or appier or cedeno? they are all career mets right? OF course not. try to learn the facts before you go spouting this nonsense.
