I, for one, am starting to get really pissed off at all the bitching and complaining I've been hearing from Coach Brown. I respect him as a coach and all that's he's done for the Sixers, but enough is a fucking enough. It seems like every morning I wake, pick up the paper (Philly Inquirer), and read about "poor old burned out" Larry Brown. This mornings article for instance by Ashley McGeachy begins with the following

While I agree with the Sox not signing Vaughn for $15 million a year a few years back becuase of how inevitable his injury would be, he's not he bad guy. Dan Duquette is the antichrist. The Eagles cost me $130 in my fantasy league championship yesterday because Thrash sat and their D couldn't step up.

I would take Paul Pierce over Allen Iverson every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I was going to say something about how the Pats are a team of destiny this year, but as I was typing, Opie said he was rooting for the Pats, so it's a lost season anyway. So nevermind.

The only good thing about Philly is Bobby Abreu.

And that is one of the many reasons why the word

MORON

is in your status.

Not only is Pierce not a complete fucking scumbag like Iverson is, he is a much more complete player than Iverson

Iverson can't hit a 3 for his life. I bet he's less than 30%, while Pierce is around 45%.

While Pierce averages maybe a point or two less a game than Iverson, he's right up there with him in steals, but can also rebound and block shots, which the 5' 7" 112 lb Iverson can't do.

Pierce is better from the field and from the line than that tatooed punk Iverson, makes less money, and is still the man after getting stabbed in the neck 9 times.

Like Jordan, Iverson averages 30 points a game becuase he takes 30 shots. Anyone can do that if they are a completely selfish player who just throws up shots becuase he has no faith in the rest of his team.

He's a punk and he can't hold Pierces jock

The Sixers offence is designed around Allen taking 20-30 shots a game. At all times he's the best scoring option on the court. It seems to have worked last year. To say that Paul Pierce is better than Allen is stupid. I'd take Shaq, Kobe, and maybe Jason Kidd (depending on how he fits on the team) over Iverson. Tim Duncan and McGrady also are maybes. Not Paul Pierce though.
That being said, I do wish the Sixers had drafted Pierce when they had the chance.

I stand behind my initial statement that Pierce is better than Iverson.

Despite having a much better secondary scoring option in Walker, Pierce has put up better all-around numbers than Iverson both on offense and defense.

And Yes, Iverson score more points than Kobe. Iverson also took 42 fucking shots. Kobe took 30. If Iverson took 75 shots a game maybe he'd score 100 points. How is that so impressive?
