DALLAS (Jan. 16) -- The Dallas Stars traded left wing Valeri Kamensky to the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday for defenseman Andre Lakos and future considerations. Kamensky, 35, had been sent to the Utah Grizzlies of the AHL on Tuesday when the Stars activated defenseman Brad Lukowich from the injured list. The Stars assigned Lakos to Utah. In 24 games with the Stars, Kamensky had three goals and six assists. He was signed as a free agent by the Stars last July after 10 seasons with Quebec (1991-95), Colorado (1995-99) and the New York Rangers (1999-2001). He has 196 career goals and 293 assists. Lakos, 22, played 36 games this season for Albany in the AHL, where he had three assists and 24 penalty minutes.  | ||||
