| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Just one day before the trade deadline, the Devils shored up at goaltender, trading backstop Chris Terreri to the New York Islanders for the playoff-proven John Vanbiesbrouck. Vanbiesbrouck is 10-25-5 in 42 starts for the Isles this year, and has a 3.01 goals-against average. He's best known for his stellar goaltending in leading the Florida Panthers to the Stanley Cup finals in the 1995-96 season. Veteran Terreri has started 10 games this year for the Devils and has a 2.78 goals-against average.  | ||||

Beezer is okay, but, he has now played for all the local teams (Islanders, Flyers, Rangers). We shall see if this was a smart move in the coming weeks. | Psychopath Registered: Aug. 00 | I have to agree... I liked Terreri too, but Beezer has more playoff experience. Beezer may be getting older, but at least he was a starting goalie while Terreri was always just a backup. Thats gotta suck though going from a Division leader to the NHL basement!   | ||||

Im not sure when it was but when i found out i was pissed and have been pissed ever since, but now they got an experienced playoff goalie who can come in late in the season and take some pressure off Brodeur.  | ||||

Its not a killer trade for the Islanders, but what the hell are they supposed to do with Terreri who should of retired at least 3 years ago? And now Vanbiesbrouk will add his name to the Trivia Question. I was going to name them now, but Ill see if anybody else can name them. There are now 4 People to have played for the Rangers, Devils, and Islanders. Can anybody name the other 3?  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | The funny thing is if the Devils do make it back to the Stanley Cup and happen to win it, Beezer will finally get his name on the cup without ever playing a game. | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | I'm glad for Beezer. I was never a fan of his because I hate the fucking Rangers, but all the interviews I've seen since he has been on the island made me like him. Seems to be a good guy. I'm glad he has a shot at the cup with the Devils. God knows we are still 3 or 4 years away from being a contender. Good luck Beezer. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Mar. 01 | Terreri dosn't suck...they hardly played him..how the fuck is a guy gonna be good..if he plays once every 20 fucking games???? the Devils only want Brodeur in net.....the same thing will happen with Beezer.....he'll play 10 times a season, and he'll suck..and then you guys will be looking for someone else..Terreri started in SJ and CHI..he was a starter in NJ for 4-5 years before Brodeur. and if anyone can remember the saves Chris used to make would spin your head around..the guy could flat out goaltend | ||||
