Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | Did you see the shot he took to the face tonight? And you're going to tell me Refs don't look the other way b/c he is Theo Fleury. This sucks, the Rangers are hurting big, Richter may be gone soon. Stinky, who most certainly does NOT rule - J.Norton

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | quote: Dont worry about Richter leaving. HE IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE! Unless the Rangers lose every game for the next 3 weeks, and the Canadiens win every game, in which the Rangers would be out of it come deadline time. Richter is going nowhere. MSG Cant afford to have no playoffs for both the Rangers and Knicks, especially since this will be 5 years in a row that they dont make it. So dont worry about Richter getting traded. Worry about this God Awful team continuing to play with no guts and emotion. Low Must Go. This message was edited by Francine Banger on 3-1-02 @ 1:07 AM

Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | I love everything Fleury does!!!!!! Instead of trying to rally the pathetic team to a play-off run all he does is worry about himself!!!! LETS GO DEVILS!!!! MARTYS BETTER!!!! But seriuosly I think Mahaltro is the best talent on the team and hasnt been used right since they drafted him in the first rd(i almost possitive it was first round). O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | quote: Who is Mahaltro? If you like the guy so much and think hes so great, shouldnt you come close to spelling his name correct. And take it from me, somebody who has seen just about every game MALHOTRA has played in the NHL, the guy can be a good role player, but will NEVER be a star in this league. He is by far not the most talented player on the team, and if you have watched any Ranger games which obviously you havent, he has been playing on a consistent basis for about 2 1/2 months now. And hes nothing more than a decent 3rd line player. He is not tough enough to be a physical force. And he doesnt score enough goals or set up any goals to be a good sniper or play maker.

Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02 | Fleury is not a little Bitch. I wish the whole team played with as much emotion as he does! Sometimes he gets carried away, but all in all, hes awesome. Your right about Malhotra, he will never be any more than a third liner. I would like to see him and McCarthy get more Ice time than they do though. Also I think they should do away with McKenna, and call up Richard Scott from hartford. I pray Richter doesnt go anywhere, deadlines commin up.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | quote: I dont think thats going to make any difference. Although I do agree that McKenna should be dressed alot less often. He should only be dressed for big rivalry games where you need the extra tough guy in the lineup. And Fleury definetly plays with emotion and heart and if a guy like Petr Nedved had 1/10th the dedication and heart that Fleury had, Nedved would be a superstar.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | quote: Succint, and well put. Out of all of the free agents / big trades that MSG has thrown money at, Fleury is the few who ever came looking to do more than just cash his check. I always get concerned when Western Division players are brought to NY - Fleury has gone against the trend and brings his butt to the game most every night. On Malholtra - He always reminded me of Graves, who I never thought would get 50+ goals, and never did again. Even though he is probably a 3rd liner, he seems to bring intangibles to the table that make him worth more than his stats indicate. Not an untouchable, but a good guy to keep. To bad he is a forward.
