O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	I have Directv. What channel is it on? Any Yankee fan with Cablevision, going to make the switch to Directv?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	not to hijaak the thread, but I hate the Yes network radio commercials. It features some of the stupidest Yankee fans. The guy who says "everyone wants to watch the Yankees" should get in the coffin & die. I don't know why they couldn't just leave it by saying that it is a must for Yankee fans - leave everyone else out of it.

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01	I have cablevision. I'm gonna wait untill at least the first week of the season. If nothing is worked out by then, then I will be ordering Direct TV right away. Knowing my luck, I'll order it tomorrow and then Cablevision announces they've come to an agreement.... O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01	I believe I heard it's on channel 622 on DirecTV. It starts at noon today. Cablevision and YES will work out a deal by opening day. It may not happen until the night before, but it will happen. Lucky for me, I moved out to the Poconos and I have the channel on my cable system as of today! O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	I actually listened to Mika and the Mad Dog about this and they had an installer from Cablevision on I think and they said even if Cablevision comes to an agreement before opening day it could take up to a month for Yes to appear on Cablevision.

Is the channel "locked out" at a certain time every day, or do they actually stop broadcasting for part of the day? Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00	I looked into DirecTV a while ago, I wasnt able to get it because I supposedly had to many trees in the way. So, I had all the trees I could cut down. So now I will be calling back DirecTV and getting it. Keeping cable doesnt pay, DirecTV is cheaper and Dish is even cheaper than both, but they dont carry YES.
