| Hanger-On Registered: Mar. 02  | Does anyone else think that Kent State has a decent chance of sneaking into the final four? What's their record now? 21 in a row? Not sure if anyone can beat Duke (maybe Kansas), (I think that's who they would have to play to get to "4" if they made it that far) but i'm kind of rooting for "The Golden Flashes" to make it. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Despite only having 9 teams left (including Kent State, whom i have in the Elite 8), my final 4 is still in tact. And, it isnt like many other's final 4 (besides Tequila who i just read now lol), which is why i still have a chance. (#'s 1 and 2 are who i have in the title game, #1 winning it) 1. Oklahoma 2. All ANYONE does who disagrees is puff up and yell and scream. Why can't I be any different? Oh, yeah...I'm a "newbie." I forgot. Still, sure, I realize now I was a prick to FB, after rereading everything again, so yeah, I'd like to apologize for that one. However, CT completely dismissed me and this very simply little question, because I'm a "newbie" (she's already shown her contempt for newbies elsewhere, and in doing so shown REAL ignorance to online communities). And, so doing, I am just showing a bit of GLEE! Maybe "idiots" was too much (I didn't call them assholes--I reserve that to people who like to tisk-tisk me), but it was GLEE! Come on! Kent could win, though, which is all I said from the start. At this point, with Duke gone, Maryland doesn't have an excuse not to win it all, in my opinion. Unless their two big dawgs don't step it up, or they get too cocky (which is very possible), they should get the job done. As for MD, they may get cocky now, but with duke gone they may want to show the rest of the country that they are able to beat the little teams too, not jsut the big boys like the dukies. and newbie or not, people who post intelligently get treated that way...post like a tool, get treated like one. | ||||
