| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | I love that joke, used it a bunch yesterday too. The guy is unreal, he's only a few behind 6th place all time, too. It'll be fun to watch him again. I do think that his race for the record last year wasn't as exciting as McGwire/Sosa in 98, but it's just fun watching him blast homers and climb his way up the all-time record list. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | The baseballs are definitely juiced without a doubt. Also, when Bonds broke McGwires record, he only hit 3 more after. McGwire shattered Maris's record and hit 9 more after. The record should've been 71 because he hit two in one game during a series with the Brewers that year, but the umps made a bad call and disallowed the 1st one, so he came up again and hit one almost out of the ballpark (this was before the Brewers moved into their new stadium). quote: I second that!  | ||||
