Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Just wondering if anyone is going to the draft on Saturday. I've been to it about 3-4 times and it's awesome. I'll be there bright and early, around 6:30, with my Becht jersey on. So if you see me, come over and say hi.

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Hell yeah, I'm going to the draft Saturday! There is not a more exciting thing in life than the NFL Draft! I can't wait... ...Oh wait, sorry, I'm going to have my testicles removed on Saturday. I always get that and the NFL Draft confused in terms of stuff I find enthralling. Sorry. 1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion 3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year 4. Mets win World Series 5. Hopefully come up with a better name for the Crack Commitee than something the Mad Dog came up with. Come on!

I could care less what other teams do for their future. I will pay attention to the Giants and thats all. Hopefully they get Shockey, the TE. Going to the NFL draft live is like going to a fantasy football draft and not participating in it...it STINKS! 1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion 3. Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | it's actually pretty cool.hanging out with diehards of your favorite team(especially Jets fans)..it's grown into a huge event, it actually has the atmosphere of being at a football game..of course i only stay until mid first-round, i would never be able to stay there for all 3 rounds or even bother going on Sunday..go to the draft, then get over to the jets draft day party, have a few drinks..it's a good day and FREE, unlike the fuckin NBA draft which actually charges.

What I can't get into is all of the people who spend money buying all of the draft guides. So who ARE the Jets going to draft? This message was edited by PeterDragon on 4-17-02 @ 8:53 PM

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I actually had a Brady jersey as well..LOL which turned into a Jeff Graham jersey when he changed his number. I was in several fan shots last year, I was sitting 2 rows away from the ESPN crew(Berman, etc.) and the camera guy kept on panning over our section and the Jets section to my left. I never buy draft guides, if you go the NFL gives you a bag full of shit about the draft and if I was watching at home I'd just use the net. right now, I think the Jets are either going to take Rumph, Lito Sheppard or trade down. They can get Weaver or Triplett in the 2nd round. I'd really love to see Lelie fall to them and take him. The biggest key is to sign a DT before the draft, like Sam Adams, to give them a lot of flexibility. But I don't know how they'll do that with Vinny's new deal today.

Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | Giants get thier man, but at a cost. They had to give up a 4th rounder (pick 110) to move up one spot to draft Miamia TE Jeremy Shockey. There was at least one other team trying to trade up for him, which may explain them having to give up the pick. Shockey has speed and is a big guy for Collins to throw to, but apparently he doesn't really block. I guess I'm happy with the pick, waiting for the second round to see what the "Somebody took my phone number and called Afghanistan. Afghanistan! I've never talked to anyone in Afghanistan, I don't know nobody in Afghanistan, and even if did know anyone, I wouldn't talk to that Afghan ass for three hours! I won't talk to my daddy for three hours."

I know that it is not the teams fault, but all those years here in Houston, and not even three years after they left they where in the SB.
