Well, the Rangers missed the boat on another guy...ESPN is reporting that Tippett will be going to Dallas...I can't say I was a big fan of Hitchcock, but Tippett wouldn't have been a bad choice...Now I'm hoping they get Nolan, but alas, they'll probably wind up with Brooks...He lost the Olympics, wasn't all that great the LAST time he coached the Rangers, but then, it all just adds up to him coming back...sigh...

| This one hurts.
1st I wanted Hitchcock, then I wasn't so sure that he wouldn't scare away FA's.
Then I wanted Robinson, who decided he needed a year away.
Then I figured go with Tippett, and roll the dice.
Now it looks more and more like Rangers will be stuck with Herb Brooks. Add to this Richter decided to get an Agent in anticipation of Group 3 negotiations. Looks like Blackburn will be facing 45 shots a night. :(
2002 Crack Committee Objectives: (You gotta believe....)
1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year
2. Hate the Braves with PASSION
3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year
3a.Have team not finish below 10th in team hitting
4. Mets win World Series |

| This stinks! I'm still saying Pat Burns or Ted Nolan. Get your ass off of the couch and call them up Sather! I'm still wondering where Eddie Belfour will go, Turco played way better than him. Maybe just maybe, the Eagle can land in New York???

| I dont want Belfour here. He is a hothead and his play has deteriorated the past couple of years. If the Rangers dont resign Ricther, Id rather go with Blackburn as the #1 goalie than bring in Belfour.

Yea Belfour is definantly done, but theres gotta be better prospects then Richter.
