Rod Brindamour scores quickly into Overtime and the Canes pull it out.

Anybody catch that old geezer in the crowd hoisting the Tin Foil Stanley Cup. That was pretty funny.

I was surprised, I thought the Devils would easily close them out here, they will probably do that on Friday now.

I only caught the OT the 47 seconds of it. I had practice. What are u gonna do??? Can't win 'em all, I guess. From what I understand, they played very badly tonite and even Robinson was ass-reeming them on the bench during the game, it is probably happening as I speak. It's cool, have them come home and win it at home, that is always fun. I think it also keeps them not to high and not to low, getting that sense of invincability out of their heads. Go DEVILS!!!

That does not mean anything at all. It could also mean rust more than rest. So I really don't think it will make a difference, considering the Devils will have home ice anyway.

Did the Canes win a game? Ok.

Is it a good thing that they(the Canes)get a chance to beat on the Devils for another game and possibly injure some key players for the Devils? No.

Could the Devils turn this into a series by playing like they played tonight again? Most certainly

Ill stand by my concerns Unicron, thanks for your insightful look at my character and intelligence. Ive seen this team choke before.

So the Canes arent going to win on Friday? Whew. That's a load off my mind. Wait a sec...your not psychic, are you? Hmm. How about injuries? Mogilny's not gonna get crushed and be out for a week or two? Arnott's gonna come out of Friday's game unscathed? And Im sure the Canes are gonna play fair and above board, especially if they're losing in the third. No, no cheap hits or anything. I mean, why would they possibly want to hurt any Devils? Its not like we gave their captain a concussion and took one of their leading scorers off the ice with another concussion. Nah, Im worring for nothing.

And speaking of hockey history, didnt the Devils come back from 3-1 down to win last year? Maybe Im misremembering that.

Quotes, your lost? I simply have concerns about the series, mostly the possibility of a serious injury to a key member of the team. I've seen this team underachieve before, I dont want Larry to have to turn over another Gatorade cooler. In my heart of hearts, the Devils will win the series. I think it'll go six though. Just a feeling.

Hey, if they get out of the series without sustaining an injury, great. Im worried for nothing. Id like to think Im a realist, but Im a real pessimist when it comes to sports.
