| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Last night Curt Schilling's perfect game was broken up when Ben Davis bunted for a hit. Then D-backs Manager Bob Brenly calls Davis a chicken shit for doing so even though it was a 2-0 game. What the fuck? Isn't baseball about winning not personal achievements. I understand if it was 12-0, but the PAdres were still very much in the game and Brenly expects them to lay down for his pitcher and change their strategy completely. Now maybe Brenly made this comment in the heat of the moment but it is still a dick thing to say and shows no respect for the integrity of the game.
