| UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) -- The New Jersey Devils traded center Steve Kelly to the Los Angeles Kings for future considerations Tuesday night.
The deal was announced by the Devils during their 4-1 victory over the New York Islanders.
Kelly, 24, had only two goals and two assists in 24 games this season with the Devils. He was scratched from the lineup the last three games -- including Tuesday night -- and nine of 13.
In 110 career NHL games with Edmonton, Tampa Bay and New Jersey, Kelly has six goals and eight assists.
It was the second trade completed between New Jersey and Los Angeles in four days. The Devils acquired center Bob Corkum from the Kings on Saturday, also in exchange for future considerations.
