| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00  | Anyone who ever listens to WFAN knows this obnoxious shithead who always calls in on all their shows. I personally find this guy horribly irritating and I can't believe they give him the time of day and make him into some kind of psuedo-celeb. Does anyone know anything about this guy? He sounds a bit more than just passionate to me. Does he have something wrong with him? | ||||

I like it cause it dosn't have the "home team spin", it's national so it's not all NY all the time, i actually hear about everything else in the world of sports. 620 WSNR is a real great sports station. | ||||

(Cough Cough) Anyway, Former SPORTS GUY! Sid Rosenberg is hosting the overnight show all this week. Hes actually not that bad doing a real deal show  | ||||

This guy everytime they start to lose says he's not gonnna root for them anymore, not exactly what a real fan would do. *as far as Doris goes - I can't knock her for the coughing thing cuz she can't help that. But I can knock her as a caller, cuz she like you said, she doesn't really add much to the show other than reading some stats. *as far as Sid goes - Sid's doin a great job now that he can talk sports like he's capable of, and w/ his vast sports knowledge, the FAN is the perfect fit for him. *as far as only wanting to hear about local teams go - How can you just want to sit and listen about the Mets problems all day? | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | WSNR, 10am -2pm shift. Jay Mariotti and Jim Litke are easily the best thing on sports radio. They run through all kinds of topics during their 4 hrs, there is no 17 calls in a row on the mets "getting back in it" on their show. There is also not the taking the games and the athletes to seriously aspect to their show as well. Give them a listen for a week and if you are a sports fan, you will like them. And they never talk Nascar. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | Actually, Jerome is a regular on the Rick Ballou Show that airs on AM 620. Since it has become Sporting News Radio, it's all I listen to besides O&A. Rick Ballou is especially good. This guy Eli is a douchebag. I remember last season he would go to the Chrebet.com message board to talk about Keyshawn Johnson and everyone just tooled on him. I suggest if you like sports talk, listen to Rick Ballou 10-2AM on 620. At first, I just laughed at his accent the whole show, but he actually has some intelligent things to say and he's pretty funny. | ||||
