| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00  | Lately a lot of you have been talking about sports talk radio. It reminded me of a guy who used to have a national show that was based in LA and we heard it on WFAN. This guy Scott Farrell was hysterical. He used to do a 10PM show and he always played a sound clip of a beer being poured. Last time I saw him he was doing that show Battle Dome. Now someone tells me he does Atlanta Thrashers games. Anybody know why he doesn't have a show? | ||||

NO your the oneyourthemanyourtheoneyourtheman YOUR THE MAN!!! i used to love that..the dude had his beer and Jagr-shlager, and he always had kickass music in the backround, which just added to a very cool show. he was a dude who would screw around, but he knew his skinny, he knew his stats...he was just fucking awsome. He's be great late night radio on WNEW if they would allow sports talk for one god-f'ing shift. | ||||

You guys are bringing back some memories. I remember trying to talk that fast and I never could. He was like Mad Dog but he's with it. I hope he comes to New York. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | He was an "aquired" taste. I hated him at first, but after a couple weeks(I work nights) he grew on me. Better then some, but not as good as others. That other station on 620 should pick him up for late nights. I can't listen to the hosts they have now. I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker! | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I remember he also did sports updates on MTV a while ago. And did anyone watch "The Outside the Lines" about 6 years ago on sports radio. It featured Mike and the Mad Dog and Scott Ferrel. That was the first time I had heard of him and he was hilarious on that show. Then the next day M&MD called him a joke on their show. | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Ferrell was pretty cool, especially with the beer and stuff, but he did have a tendency to get really annoying really quickly. Picture a mix between Mad Dog and Jim Rome, with a shitload of speed mixed in there. He never really caught on with the "main stream" media and was relatively disliked by his co-workers, so he was eventually let go. He does have a radio show out in California, and did mess around with MTV events and the UPN show Battle Dome. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Ann Liguori isnt doing the show because she is covering the US Open. Ann Liguori has been stinking up the Radio on Weekend Overnights for over a Decade Now. She knows absolutely Nothing, and is a bore. She doesnt even take calls, she lets her guests answer them. And she has guests from sports that nobody gives 2 shits about. Hopefully Ferrall will stay on the weekend overnights. It will be the first time since the early 90's when Ian Eagle did the Weekend Overnights, that there is something worthy of listening to.  | ||||
