After further inspection of the actual play-by-play, if that fan didn't get in the way and allowed Alou to catch the ball, that inning may have ended 3-3. The Cubs wouldn't have been assured of victory, but at least they would have had a shot in extra innings.
That said, I just read that the fan had to be escorted out because the others in the section were harrassing him and throwing shit. Good for them I say.

Rumor has it that should the Cubs lose tonight, they're going to burn an effigy of that brainless, jackoff that fucked up Moises Alou and may have cost them the pennant. He was lucky to have been escorted out of the ballpark that night.
