Within the 4 boroughs we do. You do realize that all the trains & busses in NYC don't leave NYC.
(Staten Island has their own train system. It sucks. I guess.)
So getting to NJ by public transportation is ridiculous. I've done it & I hate it.

Plus, when I first got us this field, I made sure to place it right in the middle so people coming from NY didn't have to travel far in NJ. Hell, some people from NY had as far if not less of a drive than I did to get to this place. That's what made it close to perfect.

also i have a feeling alcohol and bbqing are technically not allowed in nyc parks. i don't have a car either but i don't mind doing the train if there's someone on the jersey end to pick us up.
