bottomline, on the issue itself...is that O&A will not be released from their contract or bought out. Infinity has alot of lobby/issues politically, and O&A gave them an embarassment, and a decision has been made up high to take the pain, make them sit for the entire time, b/c they have perhaps billions locked up with this politcal lobby/windfall from their cozying up to Congress. So, their contract is small change that they will eat. If the same pressure is on ClearChannel, then O&A will not simply be jumping into a good situation or synidcation right away...they may have to start from scratch in a local market, build their base, and offer themselve on XM radio and web to get national audience back...and this process maybe very slow and step-by-step.

That's the reality of where thy are, in my humble opinion...pawns in a bigger gaem of P.C.-radio and a post-9/11 climate of where outlaw radio is very much out of the national spotlight.

Back in the day, I used to cause trouble, i was drinking, gambling, whoring, flaming others.

But I have found the lord, yes thats right the big JC himself, now instead of changing my nickname I felt that since I had the lord on my side now I did'nt need to and that others would see that I have found the error in my ways.
