the only problem i had w/XP was that my burner software didn't work, Nero. I had a free CD for Nero, version 4.0.3.1.. and it didn't work.. plus my Prassi abCD Rewrite software won't install.. so that's the only problem i have.

but i found away getting Nero installed.. :lol:

XP does suck. ME is the worst of all of them. win 98 SE still holds up.

I cant format his drive, he's got some govt programs that would require too much paper work to reinstall.

I will never trust windows update. in 98, i updated my Kingston Ethernet card and I could no longer grab an IP address from the DHCP server. It took me 2 months to figure out that it was my windows update..

so no more windows updates for me.
