I'll never get why people that dislike a show continue to post about it. If I have to read a gazillion posts about the good old days I swear I'll buy a paint gun, load it up with my used tampons and start shooting up bar nine. By the way, that's tomorrow night, hope to see some of you there. RADIO STATION ADVERTISE NEW MORNING SHOW - opak - 05-05-2003 If O&A are still under contract then Infinity would still have rights to play whatever past material they had. Why they would do this? Dunno...sounds like it would cause more trouble for the company. If im correct 102.7 is still under investigation by the FCC and may still lose its license. Odds of O&A replayed on an Infinity station are slim to none...none while WNEW is in risk of losing its license...slim if they are not... Note...none of this is fact in any way...just my 'lil ole opinion. There is no comparison. As far as 102.7 losing its license is concerned, the Catholic League dropped their push to have the license revoked once O&A were taken off the air. That was their condition. The FCC themselves didn't really have much to go on for revoking the license, they were simply riding on political pressure from the Catholic League. Remember, the FCC only received one valid complaint based on the Sex for Sam incident. A "valid" complaint is defined as one made by someone who actually heard the show. The protesters who were lobbying the FCC hadn't actually heard the show, they heard ABOUT it, either by word of mouth or on the news. FCC complaints don't work that way. You have to be offended by what you heard, not what you heard about.
