also when i'm buying things like electronics i like going to the store to compare. for instance, i think i'm going to get my dad a cd changer and would want to go to bestbuy or whatever so i can schedule the install and whatnot as well. i've also found some store's websites can be very inaccurate in describing a product's features.

I find it best to avoid reading about the products on the sites that are selling them. I go to several electronics review sites at random and compare that way. Then I hit the store site and find the best deal considering my findings.

that's exactly what i do but usually make the final purchase in the store after reviewing it all in person and trying it out if it's something i can.

Makes sense. Big electronics are usually bought in the store for me as well. I don't trust shipping. Those fuckers throw packages around. Also I like to ask the guy in best buy questions I already know the answer to and then tell him he is wrong and stupid.

HAHA I do that TOO. when i bought my HD RPTV the best buy guy started fighting with me even though he was DEAD wrong. i've always thought about getting a PT gig at one of those places but i don't think i could put up with working with those morons.
