Both. Although one would think their erradication from this realm would be a blessing, in reality, they are needed. Much like Scarface said "We nee people lie dem, to be da baaguy". We would self destruct without a common enemy. So in essence, they are our tie that binds.

It is essential to note that when the CDIH elite come over to pay us a visit it causes a stir. Many people hate their pressence but when all is said and done and the dust is settled we are all better for our interactions with them. As much as some folks would like to see this become an isolationist board interaction with foriegn boards is an essential part to bettering ourselves.
In the past I have made a point of it to be nonconfrontational during these times and sit back and enjoy the excitement that is created by these attacks. Everyone hates a noisy neighbor but what we must recognize is that it is more fun to fuck with the noisy neighbors than to sit around and bitch about them to the cops.

My only rebuttal to Rooner is that I don't see them as enemies really. If they were enemies they would be something we shouldn't tolerate. In this case tolerance is doable.
