Seems to me to be a rather meaningless point. Next time you have a shotgun or rifle pointed at your head... you should have the assailant clearly clarify which it is that will be shortly blowing out your brains.

i've had a rifle at my head but never a shotgun, but i was able to tell which weapon it was even though it was behind me, the sound of a pumpaction shotgun loading is much different then that of a bolt action rifle. needless to say i am still here, knowing the difference does help when deciding your next move
