I've seen these Oxygen bars. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. The only way they could possibly make any money is to put them in some kind of holistic, acupuncture, healing, wellness center. The kind of place that nut jobs and hypochondriacs go to.

None taken. That's what I do. And I had mine in a nightclub for months, and at a sporting event. Basic fact: everyone's going to try it once.

Isn't the oxygen in high-altitude places lower than the oxygen in lower altitude places -- or is it something else?
My point being, maybe someone who lives in an area with lower oxygen would get used to it and function normally. Of course, if it's not oxygen that's lacking in higher altitudes, that point is moot.

I think altitudes are an air pressure thing, not an oxygen-nitrogen ratio thing.

You're absolutely correct. I think it's 10,000 feet before oxygen is required, but the oxygen content decreases with altitude.
