I recently found out why Shockey hates the Cowboys so much (aside from being a Giant) and where this anger stems.
Apparantly when he turned pro, he fully expected Dallas to pick him because they needed a Tight End. Instead they chose Oklahoma Safety Roy Williams and ever since then has had a hard on for the Cowboys organization.
Whether that makes what he said right or wrong is irrelevant, but at least it's some insight as to where it's coming from.

Media asks the questions, then everyone gets up in arms about the answers. Is this country about free speech, or just the pussifified P.C. answers only of these sports stars when we attempt to get sound bites??? The hypocracy is staggering.

It is a bit wierd.
people in other "entertainment" venues spout garbage all day long. Yet we want to hold dumb jocks up to a higher standard.
There have been "rants" that merit attention in the past, this is much ado about nothing.
