I hate living in Brooklyn now for the simple fact that we're being overpopulated by Russians who refuse to learn English. They think we have to do exactly what Moosen said above- cater to them. Fuck that shit!! I was here first. Been on this land 24 fucking years speaking the same language my entire life. I cater to NO ONE. I speak my language & if you don't understand it, too fucking bad. Go to school, learn English. You cater to my land & my language. I don't do shit for yours.
My entire neighborhood sucks. What used to be all small shops are now Russian owned delis or cafes- and what language is plastered all over the place? Sure as hell not English. Not even a smidget of English anywhere. Pisses me off more than anything. What if I wanted something to eat from there? (Yeah ok, like not in a million years). I couldn't b/c they don't have shit written in English. :mad:
I love how if they need something they approach you & start speaking in Russian, expecting oh once again- FOR ME TO CATER TO THEM. I turn around and yell at them & say "Speak fucking English!! Learn the fucking language!!" And I walk away. I fucking hate that shit....
