I don't like to freak people out and push the bible on people. That's just me.

I'll stay in catholocism ....

Catholics don't believe in the Bible. The general theme/story yes, but they never read or go around manaicly quoting it.

This is my belief: Marriage is a religious ceremony whose whole purpose is to form a union between a man and a woman to create children. This is based on antiquated concepts that a man should not knock-up a woman and run. It is also based on the concept that a child grows up best in a loving ying/yang male/female strong/sensitive environment. I personally believe that children raised in a single parent environment are at a developmentary disadvantage, not only because they only see one side of the dicotomy of the male/female world, but also because the single parent has no one to release to. That being said, sure a gay couple can raise a kid better than a single parent, but I am not for gay couples adopting. I may be a catholic, but I am also a self-declared Darwinist who believes that abortions are better than raising an unwanted kid or a kid who can not be cared for properly by their parents. The old precepts of the sancity of life are based on the fact that the world was large and that a culture/religion needed more lives to grow/expand/protect itself. Mankind is filling this planet and really should start to temper its growth.

This being said, you can ask me to tolerate homosexuality, but don't FORCE me to accept their beliefs. You can ask me to tolerate Muslim living on my street, but don't FORCE me to accept their beliefs. My beliefs are based on my religious, cultural, and perceptive beliefs. They may be wrong, just as the beliefs that eating pork was bad solely because of trichnioses [sic.], but don't tell someone that their religious belief is invalid.

I also believe that kids who are allergic to peanuts and force other kids not to eat peanut butter in the lunchroom should be allowed to die. By keeping this unnatural/detremental condition in check, it will simply spread to other generations. Same thing about homosexuality: hetrosexuality is natural because it assists in procreation of the species. No species can survive if it is homosexual. By allowing gay couples to adopt, they are unnaturally allowed to procreate themselves, they ARE given special treatment. Now if two lesbians get a guy to squirt into a glass and they use a turkey baster, fine. Nature is somewhat in effect there.

Sloats, whats the difference between two lesbos getting artificially inseminated, and two faggots adopting a kid? That kid was made naturally right? Doesnt he deserve to have a home and a family? Even if it IS two homos. As many kids as there are out there that have shitty lives in foster homes and adoption agencies, I think that they should embrace gheys adopting kids. My whole argument on gay marriage is this, inspire by some movie called "If these walls could talk" or something like that.

Say two lesbos live together for 50 years, they build a life together, combine incomes, buy a nice home, fill it with all their worldly possesions. Now, imagine one of the carpet munchers was actually married before turning ghey and had a couple kids. Imagine she hid the fact that she was ghey from the kids. Imagine (lots of imagining huh?) the house was solely in her name for one reason or another. Say she dies. The kids come in, tell her "partner" that they are going to sell the house because it was their moms and they dont want to keep it. What exactly could the dike do? Granted, she could have a long legal battle and yada yada yada, but had they been married, there would be no argument. Now I may have screwed the theory up or whatever, but the basic gist of it is, if two people, regardless of gender, decide to build a life together, dont they deserve the rights of everyone else that has decided to make that bond?

Wasn't saying catholics are bible pushers. Essentially I don't jump ship to another religion because the other religions tend to push the bible more.

Hell I don't eve go to church but if you ask me what religion I am I'll say catholic. Because it's what I was raised in. Essentially I'm a christian. But I'd go as far as to say my sole belief that keeps me going is that there is an entity (call it god or whatever) that keeps us all going. The story of jesus being the son of god and dying for our sins. True or not is a good story for me to use when I get whiney about my life which honestly (even though I'm living from pay check to pay check trying keep clothes on my family's back and food on the table) isn't as bad as some people's lives. Thinking about the whole crucifixion thing and the passion makes me shut up about my problems and live with my life. At the same time I am trying to make my life better. I just try to be more tolerable of the hand I dealt myself.

If that makes me christian then I'm christian. I don't read the bible that much and I don't go to church often or at all. At the same time I can say that I probably understand the bible better than a large percentage of the people that are in my church in town on sunday while I'm at home playing with my son.

There are chemical reactions in the formation of children in the natural parents. But that is not my point. I simply believe that the traditional family structure: Man & Woman is the best way to raise a kid. Not two men and not two women.

I agree with the traditional family remark, but I think that all those kids that are sitting and waiting for someone to pick them, should be available to those gheys who are responsible and loving and are fully capable of giving them a good home. But I guess thats a whole other issue.
