In the beginning there was MTV. They played nothing but videos. Then slowly, the Week In Rock was formed and it went downhill after that. Then years later, MTV2 was formed. They swore that they would play NOTHING but videos (I still remember Beck's "Where's it's At" video being the 1st one to be played on there). Now, they both are the equivalent of each other.
If you have the cable that has mtvx, then you are a very lucky person. =)
