(price has to be right) Same goes with Ozzfest. when I get home from work, I'll come back and list more bands that I enjoy. (please though, I hope this thread doesn't turn into "your bands suck, mine rule", ok? I'm just lookin' to see if there are fellow 'bangers up in here.) oh! and this just in - MTV 2 will be starting up a NEW Headbangers Ball to start on 5/10/03 I believe...ushered in by Metallica I think. I read this new item on their website. I'll post a link later on. METAL! - Grizzly - 04-30-2003 I enjoy Iron Maiden, Dio, Mercyful Fate (and King Diamond obviously), Dream Theater, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, old school Metallica, Megadeath, all Anthrax, and Deep Purple. Slayer's OK too, as is Pantera. METAL! - NJDude - 05-01-2003 Symphony X!!! METAL! - FollowThisLogic - 05-01-2003 DUDE RULES! :grin2: METAL! - 60FeetUnderWater - 05-01-2003 NJDUDE, feeling the technical metal flavorings of the X. nice. BTW-Headbangers Ball 2 update: confirmed: MTV2 5/10/03 11pm. source: www.metallica.com <-this is legal, isn't it? for real, does this count as "spamming"? if so, my bad. Griz...nice choices...reminded me to give props to: Pantera Maiden (1st concert ever!) Dream Theater Priest (not all but some albums I definitely dug) Dio (same thing as Priest...) other "hard rock/metal" bands I enjoy: Glassjaw Coheed & Cambria (more emo but still awesome!) Thursday (same as Co&Ca) Taproot Kilgore Meshuggah Death Darkest Hour Cynic Ahgora Fear Factory Carcass Overkill.....(plenty more that I can't think of right now...) metal. love it. want more of it. METAL! - JimmyBlueEyes - 05-01-2003 Mostly into old school stuff Metallica Megadeth Anthrax Bush or Belladonna, Testament, Manowar. King Diamond. Maiden (second best show I have ever seen) Certain hair bands, Static X I really dig and Rob Zombie. Not much else, though. METAL! - 60FeetUnderWater - 05-01-2003 re: Anthrax - Bush vs Belladonna I was a fan of Armored Saint. I do dig Bushs' voice and style however, musically Anthrax just kick my ass up to Sound of White Noise. After that, I just couldn't get into them as much. Heard the new Anthrax cut on WSOU the other morning and it wasn't bad...perhaps I'll D/L some of this new album before buying. (FYI, I buy any album that I enjoy. I may d/l it first but if I truely dig it, I'll go out and buy the original and pass my burn to someone who may appreciate it.)
