Did anyone watch these shows last night (Punk'd, Viva La Bam, Wild boys, One Bad Trip)?

I thought they were okay but way over hyped by MTV. Should I expect anything more from MTV though?

I've been expecting Music Videos for the past 10 years from a channel called Music Tele-Vision.

There's always Fuse for videos. I mean, they actually show videos. And not including any shit that's on mtv now....all rock....and at times, there's some rap.

I guess I'm just disappointed about Viva La Bam and was asking if anyone saw it. I worked on the set (Bam's House) one night as a lowly PA directing traffic and from what it looks like the shit is about 95% staged. I don't know why this stuff surprises my gullible ass.

I'm with you here. I sort of knew i was going to get what i tuned in for but a little part of my brain was trying to psych the other half into believing it would be a hysterical show.

I think, for me at least all the shit that Bam and Co. have done over the past couple of years was so funny because they were just little breaks in Jackass with him beating up his father and doing random things that kinda didn't fit the pace of the show. The CKY videos, the home videos(i don't know if you've seen them or not) they were new and i hadn't seen anyone do shit like this and now it's played out and old.

Even though Bam is hot his schtick is old and eventually the ratings will drop and the show will be pulled.

My friend stayed on working with the show and supposedly at one point MTV dropped them from the line up but obviously picked them back up. Ever since I heard that I knew it was doomed.

I guess I was compelled to watch this since I spent a few hours at the guy's house while they were filming. And I finished up my job helping April clean her kitchen. My little brush with 'fame'. Rolleyes I imagine the only thing that will keep me watching is that it is lumped between Punk'd and Wild Boys which so far seem pretty cool.

And I haven't seen any of the CKY vids yet.

Bam isn't even that funny.

Ryan and Rabb are, they should have their own show.

This is true. They seem like free loading hangers on though so this is their way onto the tv through bam.

Maybe that's why they're funny and if they had their own show it'd be Bam who was the freeloader.

It's a lose-lose situation. :disappointed:
