Haunted Hayride - JimmyBlueEyes - 10-28-2003 I went up to Jersey to check out Barry Manilows Haunted Hayride the other night. A TWO HOUR WAIT to get on. I went home, because I had to be up at 5am for work and wasn't waiting till 11 to get on and maybe getting home at 1am. I am going to try it again this weekend and leave a lot earlier. I apologize that it's on short notice. I'm thinking maybe a bunch of us meet there early and go on the ride. Saturday is the last day and the rides start at 7, if you don't wanna get stuck waiting like two hours, get in there really early. It's $12 a person, so it's not too expensive. The only drawback to folks in the NYC area is that it's a bit of a drive, like an hour plus, not factoring in traffic. There's a little candy and stuff shop and a corn maze and stuff from what I saw. Looks like a lot of fun, anyone care to join me?? Haunted Hayride - Flock of Moosen - 10-28-2003 Only if he sings I Write The Songs and Mandy. Sorry, couldn't resist. We can't make it bud, sorry. Haunted Hayride - JimmyBlueEyes - 10-28-2003 It's funny you should mention that, because you and the Mrs were the first people I thought of asking. Haunted Hayride - BARRY MANILOW - 10-28-2003 Wow. Sorry you couldn't make it on the ride, Jimmy... We have 4 wagons going about every 15 minutes. Every wagon holds between 30-40 people. Last Saturday was the busiest we've had all year (in the last 3 years for that matter!) and even though we stopped selling tickets at 10:00 pm, we didn't finish the last ride until 1:30 am! I'm not expecting next week to be that busy. I'm taking Halloween off to take my daughter trick-or-treating. (Her first time...she's 3!) but I will be there Saturday. Ask for Captain Quint's wagon! Hope to see you and anyone else who wants to go! *** For more info, Click the link below*** *EDIT- Flock, I do sing a rousing verse of "Farewell and adui..." from "Jaws"....too bad you and the Mrs. will miss it. Haunted Hayride - Grumpy - 10-28-2003 barry only sings mandy for ME and I usually have to beg him. .....or threaten him. Haunted Hayride - JimmyBlueEyes - 11-02-2003 Well I just got back. Had a great time. It was worth the trip. Very fun ride. I recommend it for next year....screamed like a little bitch...Big ups to BM for making it a lot of fun, but not as fun as lifeless eyes, like a dolls eyes... Haunted Hayride - TheGameHHH - 11-02-2003 Barry's a pretty cool dude Haunted Hayride - BARRY MANILOW - 11-03-2003 Ohhh... But you flatter me! Glad you liked the ride, I was gonna try to meet you at the end to thank you for coming personally, but I had a ride right after you that I had to take out. Thanks for making the trip. (and for telling me that you were there so we could have a little fun at your expense! ) *HHH- were you there, too?
