Four Rooms - BITENY - 03-05-2004 Ok, so this movie is 9 years old....Another Quentin Tarantino flick.. Has anyone else ever seen this & what were your thoughts? The last short story in that movie, annoyed the fuck out of me....that much I can tell you.... Four Rooms - Flock of Moosen - 03-05-2004 I never saw the whole thing, but the scenes with Antonio Banderas' kids and the dead hooker had me rolling when I first saw it. Four Rooms - header - 03-05-2004 Which one was the last part? Four Rooms - Suzie - 03-05-2004 GREAT flick! The last part is taken from a Roald Dahl short story, read The Omnibus Four Rooms - header - 03-05-2004 I have to read a short story to find out what the last part was now? A simple one sentence summary would've sufficed. :disappointed: Four Rooms - Topper Harley - 03-05-2004 Quote:Originally posted by BITENY got a lot of time on your hands? Four Rooms - header - 03-05-2004 Low blow. Four Rooms - BITENY - 03-05-2004 Topper's a dick. Whatever. Header- the last story involves a bunch of drunk fools in the Penthouse of the hotel, and Tim Roth being stuck watching them make a bet on one of the friends who has to light his lighter 10 times in a row or else he gets his pinky finger chopped off. Well, Tim Roth is the guy doing the chopping & Quentin Tarantino gives him $1,000 to do the chopping. The guy loses his finger, Tim Roth is $1,000 richer & that's that. But what annoyed me was how long it took to get to the fucking point & end the movie. Make sense? Four Rooms - header - 03-05-2004 Quote:Originally posted by BITENY I liked that scene. THe details of the film are sketchy with me since it has been 9 years. But I liked that scene a lot. But I guess I see your point on the drawn out nature of it. Four Rooms - TheDude - 03-05-2004 I thought the entire film was discombobulated, which is what happens when you have four different stories by four different directors. It doesn't have any sense of flow or unity, though I thought Tim Roth's acting was superb. |
