I can't agree more,
throwing a stupid party........
and getting china in return,
stupid waste,
a downpayment on a house makes so much more sense,
and don't get me going about spending too much on an engagement ring either,
if you have cash to burn fine,
but a young guy saving for it....
it's archaic.
