7. Avoid using friends as nursemaids, therapist or loan officers

9. Keep your friendship comfortable
10. Keep confidences
11. Share your knowledge and experiences with your friends
12. Respect your friends' emotional boundaries and privacy
13. Have the name and number of one or two relatives of your friends so you can find your friends if they move

good post GIP, stuff to think about...
one of my best friends from years back and I seem to be on the friendship decline.
every time we get together their seems to be less to talk about.
but if I reflect on it, I haven't been putting forth a great effort to correct it.
