A NEW YORK judge ruled THURSDAY (7/17) that EMMIS Top 40/Rhythmic WHQT (HOT 97)/NEW YORK's FUNKMASTER FLEX (ASTON TAYLOR) didn't slander CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK personality BIG STEPH LOVA (STEPHANIE SAUNDERS) during a late-night altercation outside the HOT 97 studios in SEPTEMBER 2002. In making the ruling that struck down part of LOVA's $5 million dollar civil suit again FLEX, <b>NEW YORK State Supreme Court Justice EMILY JANE GOODMAN found that FLEX's words (including "bitch", "slut" and "whore") were filthy, but they weren't slander because they were said in the heat of the moment and the derogatory words aren't as foul as they used to be.</b>
