I'm driving home form work tonight, and I got the radio on the news station for the traffic reports. I happen to hear a commercial for the Food Emporium. Granted these radio stations tend to cater to the high salary type person, and many of the commercials are geared towards those who have money to burn. Now for those of you who don't know, this place is a small and overpriced chain of supermarkets. They sell "gourmet" foods at ridiculous prices that the average Joe Six Pack can't afford. Now there's this guy singing the jingle..actually more of a song of praise for the store, sounds like Tom Jones. I wonder, how low do you have to get in your singing career that you are stuck singing tunes and jingles for stuff like that?? Or is he trying to get a break in the recording industry, a la Tori Amos and her cereal commercial/Divorce Court appearance(Saw it on Before they were rock stars).
I'm not quite there yet
