Two points: 1) If your buddy hasn't finished seeing the movie yet, take the advice with a grain of salt. Also, if he's the kinda person who will stop watching a movie to tell people how much it sucks, get new friends.
2) This is like P.T. Barnum complaining that someone's telling people what "egres" means before they go into the freak show, or whatever it was. YOU CAN'T FUCKING COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR OWN INABILITY TO CHEAT PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY IF THEY CATCH ON TO YOUR TRICKS TOO FAST! FUCKING DAMMIT. It's like some ISPs a few weeks ago crying anti-trust about the wholesale broadband supplier that owns the "last mile of copper" charging them too much, such that they can't possibly charge a competetive rate. Someone at Slashdot said it perfectly -- That's not being the victim of a monopoly, that's called having a bad business model.
