Well... more like they're going to gauge how American audiences react to their attempt, since this is going to be a theatrical release of a movie already on DVD (all regions, so you may be able to hunt down a subtitled version).

Essentially, it's being described as a sort of anime-style hybrid of sci-fi and action.

It opens here in NYC and LA on Oct. 17^th; not sure about nationwide for you folks outside those two cities.

I've seen occasional commercials for it, and it looks solid. But that's what teasers are designed for.

Damn, that trailer was cool! Not sure if I'd go see it in the theaters, but I definitely want to catch it on TV. I love this kind of shit.
